Our self-esteem is often tied to our appearance, and our teeth play a crucial role in that perception. If you aren’t happy with the message your smile conveys, it might be time to consider a transformation with dental veneers.

What Are Veneers?
Teeth veneers are thin coverings of porcelain or ceramic customized to fit the front surfaces of your teeth. When we design your restorations, we carefully match their shade and shape to surrounding teeth for a seamless smile.
The material of choice for veneers is ceramic because it closely resembles the appearance of tooth enamel and is stain-resistant. We can also use tooth-colored composite resin or precious metals like gold.
When you meet with one of our experienced cosmetic dentists, they will ask you about your goals and expectations and help you choose the most suitable material for your needs.
Why Should I Choose Veneers?
Dental veneers are versatile, and our patients choose them because they conceal a wide range of cosmetic smile flaws:
- Chipped or broken teeth
- Worn or cracked teeth
- Wide gaps or uneven spacing
- Tooth size or shape differences
- Stained or discolored teeth
- Slight tooth misalignment
Depending on your goals, we can place one or two veneers on your front teeth or customize a full set to enhance all the teeth that show when you smile.
How Long Does it Take to Get Tooth Veneers?
The first step is a consultation with our experienced cosmetic dentists to ensure you’re a good candidate and veneers are the appropriate treatment choice for your aesthetic issues. Once we agree to proceed with the process, we can typically design and place veneers in as few as two appointments.
At the first appointment, our dentist prepares the veneer teeth by removing a small portion of the tooth’s top layer. Depending on your sensitivity level, they may numb the tooth for your comfort.
The layer removed is about the thickness of the veneer that will replace it. The goal is to prevent your teeth from getting thicker at the gum line after placing the veneer.
Next, we take comfortable, mess-free digital impressions of the prepared teeth that we use to create temporary veneers. The impressions are then sent electronically to a high-quality dental lab that prepares your final custom-fitted restorations using only the highest quality materials.
When your veneers are ready, you will return to our office so our dentists can check them for fit and comfort and cement them securely to your teeth. Your smile will look flawless and beautiful, and you can expect up to 10 years of use with proper care.
